The series consist of races under SKY and SKYULTRA characteristics. The VERTICAL discipline may also be included.
The top three women and men in the Sky modality of each SNS —whether they qualify through ranking or via qualifying races— gain access to the SkyMasters, the final race of the Merrell Skyrunner® World Series 2026, held at the Marató dels Dements in Eslida and Aín, Castellón (Spain), on November 7.
Three new countries join the SNS: Mongolia, the USA and Slovakia.

Additionally, the top three men and women in the Sky and SkyUltra modalities at the World Championships —to be held in La Gomera the weekend of September 18–20— will also earn access to the 2026 SkyMasters.
Closing the list of international championships that grant access to the SkyMasters is the Masters World Championship, held across two venues:, Arêches-Beaufort France 3-4 july for the Vertical and Sky modalities, for the Ultra modality in Portugal october 4, São Pedro do Sul.
