Continental Championship: South America & Europe

The Skymasters, as well as being the final of the Merrell Skyrunner® World Series, is the world skyrunning festival, where in November the best in the world will come together to compete in the Marató dels Dements, they did it in 2024, and they will do it again in 2025.

Although not all elite athletes will be able to compete in the overall, the final classification, they will be able to compete in the final and be eligible for the economic prizes of the race. Those who qualify through the continental championships, according to conditions classificatio SWS, They are sure to try to play their options right, both to try to challenge those who have qualified for the circuit, and to take the economic pinch of the top 10.

In 2025 the European, South American and North Central American championships, as well as the Master Skyrunning® World Champs will take place.

Weekend 6 – 8 june, were contested the South American Skyrunning Champioship 2025, in Callahuanca, Perú.

It may come as a surprise that among the champions of the Continental Championships, there are no names of athletes who are participating in the circuit, or who are world top athletes, but it is a consequence of the absurd struggle of the mountain and athletics federations, as well as the high number of circuits and races throughout the year.

We will be looking forward to the Sky Nationals Series to confirm the list of participants in the skymasters, and of course with attention also to the North American Continental and the Masters in October.
